My name is Donald, and I recently turned 70. After overcoming homelessness and surviving a stroke five years ago, I’ve learned to appreciate every day I wake up. Life hasn’t been easy, but I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made and the roof over my head.

Right now, things are especially tight. My phone, which I bought over two years ago, has a battery that’s nearly dead. I’m not looking for anything fancy—just a reliable phone so I can stay connected, edit photos and videos, and keep in touch with friends and family. My laptop is five years old and struggles to keep up with what I need, especially as I hope to do some video editing and maybe earn a little extra income in the new year.

With the holidays approaching, I find myself wishing for a decent Christmas. I don’t know how many more I’ll have, and having a little extra help would mean the world to me.
