UPDATE: Bleu is still not doing well. She is sedated 24/7 and on blood thinner to help “ try” to shrink the brain clot. We are running out of time to help her. I don’t want to see her put down.
I’m writing here a little bit of her back story so you will know how special she is and the love my son and she share. Two years ago my son Rob came home with a teeny tiny lil pup. He rescued her not through some agency but literally off the streets. Some friends friend had her chained in his shed as he wanted to use her as a bait dog in dog fights. She was barely 5 weeks old when my son brought her home she didn’t know how to eat puppy mush and was VERY skinny. She was taken from her mom too young and her future was to be a fighting dog. My son took her away from all that and they haven’t been separated ever since.
On 7-19-18 my sons beloved pit bull Bleu was playing fetch in the back yard while we were having a family night when tradgedy struck. Bleu loves to fetch , sadly this time as she was so excited to have her daddy home she ran head first into the bush and an almost 3” stick impaled her eye. We are so thankful that she didn’t loose her life as it could have easily gone to her brain.
So far the dr has been able to save her eye but she isn’t out of the woods yet. The vet bills-with surgery and medication have been insane and this is the only way my son will allow me to help him. He works 6 days a week but after just getting back to work after having pins in his hand things are very tight. We pray that Bleu will be able to keep her eye. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please help us raise money for my sons beloved pups eye surgery, she needs to have a blood clot removed from behind her eye as it is getting larger and putting pressure on the eye itself and possibly her brain. So far no infection she’s been on antibiotics. We will know more and will update ASAP!
