Honoring Ed Moss
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Zarleen.
My father, Ed Moss, renowned Cincinnati jazz piano player, passed away early Friday morning, September 9th. Wow, what a life he has lived!
Over many decades, he expertly created amazing music, delicious food, and eclectic, beautiful atmospheres in which to enjoy both. He had a knack for implementing his ideas and rallying others to help him realize his visions. Many of us have learned from him and benefitted from his musical and culinary insights and teachings. He has been quite a mover and shaker on the Cincinnati jazz scene for more than 50 years.
Unfortunately, between his illnesses, being laid up for the last several months, and pouring his whole heart and pocketbook into the Point, he left this world with very little money, some hefty bills, and a few loose ends. I want to honor him as best I can, but lack the funds to do so. I am completely unaccostomed to asking for money/help, but I'm at a loss for ideas.
Your donation, however small, would be a great help in giving him a small family funeral, paying his bills, and organizing and implementing a great memorial where all of the people who were influenced by him and his music can get together to celebrate his exceptionally prolific life.
Thanks so very much for any help you can offer and I will post more about his memorial when I've had a chance to work it all out.
Additionally, I have created a trubute page where you can share photos, music, videos, stories, and thoughts. Please go here to view and contribute:
