Help Edward Pay for School

Hi!

I’m Edward Kurczewski.

I was born in Grodno, a town in Belarus. Inspired by the Disney animation, I was dreaming about creating my own worlds. Since childhood I was engaged into creative activity. Even when no one believed my dream could come true, I kept moving forward. After High school I enrolled into Polish Film School in Lodz. My major was Animation.


Through all years of my studies, I was searching for my own style, was working on techniques. 4 years later, I realized in which direction I want to grow. The next step was applying to Gobelins, l’école de l’image in Paris, one of the best animation schools in the world. It seemed unreal to come true. Despite financial difficulties, I didn’t let this dream go. I decided to take a risk. In a year I’ve learnt communicative French, got prepared for the practical exams and got accepted into the school!


This proves that nothing is impossible. Motivation, everyday aspiration to the goal and positive mind have made my dream come true. But I don’t have time to walk on air and celebrate my victory. Now I have new goals and barriers standing in front of me, and I hope you’ll help me with them.
