Hi Everyone,
Before you clicked on the link/saw my email you must have thought what on earth is she going to do this time?! What has she set herself as her next challenge? So….
I am delighted to inform you that I have recently been offered a place on the Executive MBA programme at the University of Oxford (Saïd Business School)
I am writing to ask for your support/contribution to enable me to take full advantage of this extraordinary opportunity, as I am not in a financial position (will be taking on a significant loan) to be able to fully fund this prestigious programme, so I really need your help.
Before I go into my life story, which many of you may already know, I thought I would share my vision with you and why I am so keen to pursue an MBA and how it will help me to change the world.
The MBA is an enabler to new horizons and success. You know I am an energetic, driven and inspiring professional with a real passion for business and people. I believe I have achieved outstanding results in roles across different industries and I believe that this qualification will help to advance my career within corporate life. However, what is my true passion is helping young people and the less fortunate to help their development through the talent and professional pipeline. I’m a firm believer that each one of us has a defining role to play in the society in which we live in. It’s really important that we care for each other and try to give something back as we go through our lives. I truly believe that upon completion of this programme, armed with the knowledge, tools, frameworks and network, I can become a decision maker and strategically influence the business world and make the world a better place and help those less fortunate.
So here is my story in milestones enabling you to see where I came from, where I am now and where I’d want to be:
1. Born and raised in Hungary.
2. Lost my dad and family business at age 16 and despite challenges I saw education as an enabler to do well in life and achieve great things.
3. Obtained degree in Economics in 2006 (worked part-time) and moved to London, UK.
4. Started working in catering and took first leadership role at age 22.
5. Started working my way up and whilst worked in consultancy I gained an MSc from International Management at King's College London.
6. Started working in large corporate world in 2011 and have been working my way up within financial services.
7. Selected as one of the ‘Ones to Watch’ – Rising stars of the City in 2015 by Brummell Magazine.
8. Champion for Corporate Social Responsibility; School Governor and Chair of Finance Committee; Mentor for undergraduates and young professionals; Sitting on BPP University’s Enactus Business Advisory Board; Developing my own programme to support disadvantaged young people in Hungary.
9. University of Oxford EMBA offer.
10. What next? => Change the world
I hope to become a role model and encourage/inspire others to work hard for whatever dream they might have.
I hope that you haven’t regretted reading the above and that I have demonstrated to you my enthusiasm for life, shared my dream and the fact that I’m willing to work really hard for it.
Please give hope to others as once a great visionary man said… “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
Thank you for your contribution, I appreciate any support you can give me. Ever little helps!
Also I would be grateful if you could spread my story (via FB, Twitter etc) and let others to find inspiration in my very own story.
If you are a business owner, I am happy to provide some consultancy and business advice in return of your support as I have quite a lot to offer given my diverse background.
If you have any questions or would like to find out more about my experience/skills/plans please do get in touch via GoFundMe, LinkedIn or Gmail ([email redacted]).
Here is an article what mentor has recently published about me & my story on LinkedIn .
Thank you for your contribution/donation, I appreciate any support you can give me.
Many thanks for your help in advance!
Best wishes,
