Emily Sullivan's Guatemala Trip

I'm asking for many prayers and donations to go towards my trip to Chiquimula, Guatemala. If God provides the necessary financial means for me to travel to this poverished area, I will be working on the construction of the trade school they have started to help alleviate the hunger and problems with a poor community. I have never been on a out-of-country mission trip and I am so excited to be volunteering and seeing the world outside of where I live! I hope to gain experience and knowledge of another culture's poverty to help me see the world with a different perspective. I love serving people in need because it is so rewarding to help someone that shows so much appreciation for even just the little things that I take for granted every day. When serving a community in need, individuals have mentioned to me that I am part of a process that is changing their life, when really they don't realize how much their humble hearts have changed mine. I am taking this trip with a group of college students from UNA that is set up by the Building Believers in Christ foundation.
