My name is Julio Castaneda and I am the organizer for the Enough is Enough 2020 - Bernie Rising! I organized the original Enough is Enough rally in Anaheim in 2016 in support of Bernie Sanders. As the regional VP of 'Our Revolution Orange County' and as a former Bernie or Bust 2016 Bernie Sanders delegate to the 2016 DNC convention, I am proud to bring back the rally to an all BLUE ORANGE COUNTY!
We need to raise about $5000 in order to pay for Police security at the event, for rental of a stage, rental of sound equipment and the setup crew, EMT professionals on-sight and advertising to get the word out about the event.
The date of the 'Enough is Enough 2020 - Bernie Rising' rally in Anaheim is scheduled for April 4th, 2020 at 4pm.
This event is very important to me. I joined the Army in 2003 right after high school because I was compelled to do so by the attacks on 9/11. After an honorable discharge in the Army, I began to obsessively look into events around the world and my eyes started to open to the truth about 9/11, Iraq and other wars. Slowly, I slipped into a pit of lost hope. The belief that I had in our political system was shattered and I realized that we were no longer living in a democracy but an oligarchy. I woke up to the fact that I was living in a system that sends our youth to war for profit. I lost all hope until I learned about Bernie Sanders in April 2015 through a facebook post that one of my friends had liked. Bernie Sanders gave me HOPE. I looked around, I did research and realized that Bernie Sanders meant hope to millions of people. I had someone to believe in. Bernie Sanders has been fighting the good fight for over 35 years and he has always voted in support of Veterans and service-members. I am 100% loyal to Bernie and his vision for America and I need your help to make this event happen. I want to spread the same hope that Bernie has given me. That is why I am organizing the Enough is Enough 2020 - Bernie Rising - rally!
