Erica's Medical Expenses

MENTAL ILLNESS IS REAL! It is not something that should be swept under the rug. It should not be discounted or downplayed.
My beautiful friend is fighting for her life in Neurological ICU. Erica is 22 years old and has been struggling with Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, and Borderline Personality Disorder for many years.
Yesterday (3/24/17) she felt the desire to end her life by overdosing on her prescription medication.
After many attempts by friends and family to locate her, the police were called to perform a well-check.
She was found unconscious with no blood pressure and barely breathing. It is unknown the amount of time her brain was without oxygen. The EMS were called to transport her to the local ER.
Upon arrival at the ER, they were able to stabilize her and she was placed on a ventilator.
She was airlifted to a larger hospital more equipped to monitor her and assist her medical needs.
She is stable and beginning to respond to some voice commands. The main concern will be any brain injury from lack of oxygen.
She will be in ICU for an undetermined amount of time.
I can't begin to imagine the medical costs and expenses her family will incur during her hospital stay and the recovery.
We are asking for help to cover the insurance deductibles and any remaining medical bills after insurance. Depending on recovery, there could also be long-term expenses.
Also, because she is at a facility more than an hour away from home, travel, hotel, and food expenses for her parents.
Erica is a beautiful woman full of love, laughter, and joy! But her mental health issues keep her captive most days.
Please pray for her healing, both physically and mentally. Pray for her her parents and other friends and family as they stand vigil at her bedside.
Any financial help will be greatly appreciated.
