Afghanistan

Children in Afghanistan currently stand as having one of the worst chances of survival compared to any other place in the world. It is very difficult for parents to help support their families due to the many catastrophic events that have taken place in the country. These families have difficulties with basic needs, such as adequate housing, food, shelter, clothing, and education. These families have taken tents as their permanent form of residence and do not possess the financial capabilities to take themselves out of these circumstances. Together, we can help make a positive difference for these families and help the children of Afghanistan by giving them a future that we want all children to have. The goal for this goFund is to raise a thousand dollars and I know that with the collective help of everyone, this goal can easily be accomplished.  The money collected will directly go towards helping 10 families residing in Kabul, Afghanistan. These families will be provided with proper resources like food, water, and blankets. We need to make it our responsibility to ensure that the people in our societies all have fair access to basic human needs, because if we don't no one else will.  Lets make this happen together!

(UPDATE)
We not only successfully reached our goal but surpassed it. With the money raised we have been able to help many families. 
We have also been able to head to an orphanage in Kabul this past month to supply the kids with new bed sheets, slippers, detergent, and school supplies.
