PRUDHVI RAJ KANDEPI - A Fallen Angel!
Very rarely do we come across people who have an amazing impact on others, touch their lives and make an everlasting impression.
Prudhvi Raj Kandepi, aged 25 and the only son to his parents was one of those rarest gems. A graduate of University of California-Riverside and Vellore Institute of Technology, India (VIT), he was a beautiful soul and a very happy person who got along with everyone. He spread cheer, excitement and enthusiasm, his smile was contagious and his eyes were full of dreams. Prudhvi traveled far and worked extremely hard so he can provide a better life for his parents and younger sister. However, all those aspirations and dreams were shattered in a senseless act of gun violence at Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati on Thursday, September 6, 2018. His parents, relatives, friends and well wishers are beyond shock and in deep despair.
Tarangini, a non-profit Telugu association of Cincinnati, is coordinating with local officials, TANA, VIT Alumni Association (VITAA USA) and his family members to get Prudhvi home. However, our responsibility just does not end there. We are reaching out to everyone for moral and monetary assistance in such a difficult time. All funds raised will go directly to his parents. Our gratitude goes to everyone that have been reaching out to help. Please pass on this message to your near and dear so we can maximize our efforts in helping Prudhvi’s family.
