Blessings to all,
My name is Lamar Bain, American born but Bahamian raised. I grew up in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas until i was of age to travel to the USA to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering in 2005.
I left behind in Grand Bahama, my Parents, Grands, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends, mentors, and fellow bahamians along my journey seeking a degree. Today it hurts my heart to see the very place i was raised and molded, destroyed by the trajedy of Hurricane Matthew, and will promise to give my all to assisting the Island in which i was and still am very much a part of.
My heart cries out to help with purchasing supplies, Toiletries and Food, for those in dire need of help in Grand Bahama (Freeport), Bahamas,
No donation is too small, please give from your heart. I will be posting updates of purchases and shipments, and the recieving of goods in Grand Bahama.
Funds will be spent on purchase the following necessities from Walmart, Sam's Club, Harbour Freight & Home Depot:
Drinking Water, Soap, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Deodorant, Baby Wipes, Can Goods, Tarps, Small Portable Generators, and Candles and Insect Repellant.
Items are being shipped into Grand Bahama via Balearia Cargo, and forwarded to members of The Church of the Good Sheperd, and then distibuted to those that have lost their homes in the Pinders Point, Mack Town, Lewis Yard and West End Communities.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the people this will help.
