Gabriel Cabrera Legal Fund

Hello everyone my name is Gabriel Cabrera and as much as I hate to admit it i'm in desperate need of help. On Friday April 4th 2014 I went with several family members and friends of the family to my country estate in Robstown, Tx to do a bit of target shooting which is a lawful act here in Texas. We had been shooting our firearms for approximately 1 1/2 hours before our local sheriff's department arrived to investigate if everything was lawful and if any laws were being violated. As soon as I noticed the deputy's arrive in my property I immediately started to record the interaction for the purpose of my personal safety, safety of my guest and for the deputy's as well. Not even 1 minute and 40 seconds into the interaction with law enforcement i'd say, the second deputy approches me as seen in the video to the point to where he was literally in my face and then bumps into me and then claimes that I supposedly assaulted him when he approached me and then assaults me all while threatning to "put me in the fucking hospital" all while still under the color of law. after that happened I immidietaly requested a supervisor and waited for one to show, after 25 minutes or so of waiting for their superior he finally shows up and does his assement of the investigation and clears me of any wrong doing which is what was the reason for the investigation in the first place. so about 30 or so mins after the supposed assault on the deputy, he brings it up to his supervisor and then chose to lie about me assaulting him which at that point changed the superiors demeanor to an extent and that's when i was unlawfully arrested after being the one who was assualted. the superior gave him a choice to make and he chose to unlawfully arrest me minutes after just assaulting me and threating my life with bodily harm. i was hauled off to the nueces county jail where i was booked and charged for assualt on a public servant a 3rd degree felony here in texas, mind you i have never been charged, arrested, or accused of a felony in my entire life up until this point. I am a lawful carrier of a concealed handgun license, responsible gun owner, hard worker, gun rights activist, a single father, a son, a brother, a uncle, a believer in god and justice and hope the law will prevail in the end and be on my side. any and all help would be greatly appreciated and all funds will go towards my legal counsel for both the criminal and civil portion of this case, i hope and pray others do not have to endure this type of assualt and oppression in the future and also hope this opens up people's eyes that some but not all law enforcement do commit crimes also.
