Go Air Race Team #58 (Tess & Robin)

The Air Race Classic, Inc. (ARC) is a non-profit organization, originating in 1929, that organizes an all women’s air race. The ARC, which began in the days of Amelia Earhart, uses the annual race to encourage and educate pilots while preserving and promoting the tradition of pioneering women in aviation. Race teams, consisting of at least two female pilots, must fly the approximately 2,400 miles course during day VFR in less than four days.

Team #58, consists of the dynamic duo: Tessa Roberts and Robin Laws. Tessa is a Commercial Instrument rated pilot and A&P, soon to complete her Multi-Engine Commercial rating. Robin has her CFI, CFII, MEI, and Multi-Engine ATP ratings, currently completing her tail wheel endorsement. We both LOVE aviation and cannot wait to begin the exciting adventure of this year’s race. Using our passion for aviation, our goal is to inspire others, especially young women, to “dare to dream” and to follow their dreams in aviation.

We would be honored if you would sponsor our team in this year's race in pursuit of our goal to inspire other women. We are looking to raise $8,000 to offset race costs (registration fee, fuel, airplane rental, food and hotel). We graciously accept any amount and would like to have all funds accounted for by June 15, 2016 before the start of the race.
