At 7:32am on 11/06/2017 my best friend Alex Gibson was awoken by his dog Daisy as toxic smoke started to fill the room he and his pregnant girlfriend (Charlotte Perren) were sleeping in, and alerted to a fire that had started at Kay's a shop a few doors away in the apartment block they lived.
In the confusion his dog Daisy tragically died from smoke inhalation whilst saving their lives, which allowed them to alert the other residents of the building, further saving more lives, my friend's home was destroyed and he lost all his possessions including all his clothes, all his furniture, and all the DJ equipment he uses to make money to provide for his family.

This fund is to help him to reclaim his lost possessions and to have a proper burial for the dog, the money shall be shared equally amongst those who were affected, many of which are currently in hospital due to the smoke, but thankfully no-one died thanks to the actions of his heroic little dog Daisy, may she rest in peace, and the action of firemen and ambulances service and Hatzolah.
