MAGICAL REUNION! REUNITE GRANDPARENTS WITH GRAND-DAUGHTERS AFTER 5 1/2 YEARS & HORRIFIC HATE CRIME LAST SUMMER
UPDATE JUNE 5, 2017:  My girls are coming.  The plane tickets have been purchased and the girls will be here in time for the 4th of JULY!!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO ALL THAT CONTRIBUTED TO MAKE THIS DREAM COME TRUE!!

HOLLY got home from the hospital and is doing great. Thank you for all your prayers. 
Holly has been in the hospital for 4 days.  PRAYERS are urgently needed.  They have not figured out what is wrong with her.  I am even  more determined to get this baby girl to DISNEYWORLD NOW!!  

This is a follow up to the story of my daughter's family who were victims of an horrific hate crime in Australia.

OUR STORY
This is our story.  My daughter, her husband and 2 daughters moved to Australia 5 years ago when her mother in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  She passed away right before they got there.

 Ashlee was 10 and Holly was 1 and 1/2.   I have not seen Holly since she was a baby other than over Google video chat which has been a God send.  She will be 7 years old in April.  I have never taken my youngest granddaughter shopping, watched a Disney movie, baked cookies, pushed her on a swing in a park, popped popcorn or made meatballs with her. Something I got to do with her sister many times over.  I miss them so much it actually causes me real pain that results in falling tears frequently. 

My husband is ill and cannot take a flight to Austraila and I cannot leave him home alone for a month so us going there is not an option.  Here is our story and what they have been through for the past year.

Last summer in Australia

After a weekend away, my daughter and her family came home to discover they were victims of a hate crime and it looks like being American was the reason. My 15 year old granddaughter had been bullied for 2 years in school.  

That bullying escalated to EXTREME VANDALISM!!!

This crime was covered by local and international news, both in print and TV.  It caused them to be separated and homeless for over a month.  See Photos below.

Because of this act of targeted violence against this family they have lost 99.9% of their belongings.  The writing on the wall says it all about it being a HATE CRIME!

Mattresses, bedding, towels, all electronics including TV's and computers, food, everything including the families pet fish are gone.

Racial slurs written all over the inside walls of this family's home tell the story of hatred for Americans. The family received help from the local community and crowdsourcing after the story became public and was aired on local TV news and newspapers. Story in Local News Paper

The family is obviously using all their resources for the foreseeable future to rebuild their lives.  In the meantime, Ashlee turned 15 in October and Holly will be 7 in April.  I would love to be able to surprise them with plane tickets to America for September, 2017.  I have saved $1,100 toward the tickets but at this rate it will take several years to raise the approximate $6,000 I will need for the R/T tickets for 3/4.  You could help reunite us with our granddaughters.
