HOLLY'S KOREA

Holly Crawford is a 32 year old professional Snowboard Halfpipe rider with countless World Championships and three Olympic Games under her belt.  She made her Olympic debut at the Torino Winter Games in 2006 finishing 18th and four years on jumped up the standings, placing 8th at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.  Injury hampered her Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games campaign.  She finished on the podium in the Olympic test event the year prior but in doing so she aggravated a longstanding injury to the cartilage near her rib cage and injured her neck.  On top of that only 3 weeks out from the Sochi games she had a major crash where she broke both wrists, sprained her knee and cracked her ribs.  Determined as ever she threw her broken self into the pipe and competed in her 3rd Olympic Games, but the result was not the one she'd worked for.  An article published in the SMH at the time gives some insight into Holly's character and the challenges she faces in her chosen field.
Now Korea 2018 looms and Holly is keen to give the Games everything she's got.  However, as a result of incident and injury the funding that has supported her career to date has been cut.  We are hoping to raise the $100,000 she needs over the next two years so that she can have the opportunity to ride the Olympic pipe for Australia once more. 
The old pro has more than a few tricks up her sleeve and she's a career athlete.   The Korea Winter Games and the World Championship events it will take to get there are what she's trained for.  She's killed it in Korea in the past, winning Silver at the 2009 World Championships,  Australia's first Snowboard Halfpipe World Championship medal.  She then went on to win the World Championship crown in 2011, and claim another silver medal in 2013.  The elusive  Olympic medal still looms... The girl's got it.  Let's get her to Korea so she can flaunt it!
