Haiti Rebuild Inc Hurricane Relief
Donation protected
Haiti Rebuild, Inc is an organization based in Tucson, AZ started and run by Haitians living and working in the United States. Our goal is to provide medical and education support to the people of Haiti. Our 501(c)(3) EIN is 27-2716145.
We completed a successful Medical Mission to Haiti in August 2016. When Hurricane Matthew hit the country in early October, we decided to mobilize and do what we could to connect the Arizona community with organizations already working on the ground in Haiti and have a proven track record of getting help directly to the poeple.
All donations will be funneled through Mission of Hope, the National Organziation for the Advancement of Haitian People (NOAH), or Sove Lavi. All three of these non-profits are well-established in Haiti and Haiti Rebuild, Inc has worked with them in the past. Each of the three has at least one brick & mortar clinic in the country. Mission of Hope has worked in Haiti for over 30 years. The other two organizations were started and are still run by Haitians.
We are looking into possibly going on another medical mission in response to this tragedy. A portion of the funds raised could be used for travel, housing, and food for the team. If you are a medical professional interested in participating in a Medical Mission please e-mail us at [email redacted].
The founder and his wife, who is also a board member, have many friends and family still living and working in Haiti. They have been in contact with many of these people, learning about the impacts from this storm all across the country. They also traveled with the team on our recent Medical Mission, acting as guides and translators.
