Hunt The Dinosaur Album Funding
Donation protected
Welcome to the Hunt The Dinosaur GoFundMe campaign. My name is Taylor, and I am the band's manager and social media coordinator. Before going any further, I would like to express to you the amount of gratitude both the band and I have for all of our amazing fans from all across the globe. We are all truly astounded at the amount of love, support, and loyalty that HTD fans have shown us over the years.
Since the initial release of the band's metal cover of the rap song "Look at me Now" in 2011, Hunter has grown more and more determined to bring you the quality music you fans deserve, overcoming countless obstacles along the way. In March of 2015, the band began the long journey of recording "Dankosaurus", an EP strong enough to follow up the initial Self-Titled album the band released in 2014, featuring the fan-proclaimed favorite song "Destructo", and I am pleased to inform you that all of the songs for the new album are completely recorded and the album is in its final phase of mixing and mastering.
However, I am writing you today because HTD needs your help. Due to unforeseen circumstances between the band and the Engineer helping to record the album, the band has found themselves in a predicament. To keep things civil, we don't believe that it is appropriate to go into details regarding this matter, and we would also like to express that there are absolutely no hard feelings between the band and the sound engineer. But, that being said, we also feel the need to keep our fans in on the loop as to why this album has been such a long process to complete. So we have to decided to fill you in on the basics...
In the very beginning of the recording process, it was initially decided that the album would be recoded by the now former guitar player of the band at no cost. To keep it short, we now have reached the point that the tracks that have already been recorded, mixed, and mastered, now need to be paid for at his standard rate. Along with the price of the album, the fees of obtaining physical copies and distribution fees to get the album available for digital download end up totaling just over $2000, which is now our goal we have set for this campaign.
We are asking our fans to donate anything that they possibly can to help get this album finally released. As incentive, any donation over $20 will receive a FREE limited-edition Hunt the Dinosaur "Dino-Bong" T-shirt.
Also, along with the shirt, the top 5 fans with the largest donations will be receiving a digital copy of the album and all of its heavy goodness before it is released, as well as a personal Skype session with Hunter for any purpose desired. Whether you want to learn some new vocal techniques, have questions, or simply just want to hang out and blaze with Hunter, this is your opportunity!
We look forward to your donations and cannot wait to get this album to you guys, you're the best!
