Lombok Earthquake Help Orphanage

Devastated by Indonesia Earthquake, Assist the Rebuild of Peduli Anak Orphanage
When there is nowhere else for desperate and abandoned Indonesian children to turn to, the Peduli Anak Foundation is there.
The Peduli Foundation, on the island of Lombok, provides these children a permanent refuge, good meals, comfortable beds to sleep on, an education to give them a future and most important of all, a sanctuary where they know they are cared for and loved.
Following the recent magnitude-7 earthquake, the children and staff of the orphanage are safe, but that home (and much hope) is now destroyed. The children are traumatized.
The orphanage was originally constructed through the generosity of donations, and that help is needed again.
Why Help:
More than 80 children depend on the Peduli Anak Foundation for their safety, welfare and future. This is their home.
The orphanage is funded and managed by the Peduli Anak Foundation. As a small NGO, Peduli Anak Foundation spent 13 years acquiring donations and building the structures to support 80 children in the orphanage. Currently living in tents, these children cannot wait another 13 years to rebuild.
Our campaign team are the co- founders of Peduli Anak , sponsors and volunteers, hoping to raise funds for the reconstruction of the facilities.

Who are the children?
Most of the children at Peduli Anak were found living on the streets. They were referred by the Indonesian government, other welfare agencies or even concerned citizens who inform the orphanage when there’s a child in need. Many of the children are also victims of broken homes, orphans, neglected, abused and exploited. Following the quake, they are living in temporary tents. Peduli Anak is their only home.
Peduli Anak also offers day care and primary education to some local children free of charge.
