MLP-MSP's founder needs our help!

Chase Hedges, the founder and primary financial backer of all three MLP-MSP conventions, needs help.
MLP-MSP was a My Little Pony convention that ran for three years in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area from 2014-2016, and is still adored to this day by many fans that attended. The primary reason why the con folded was explained in a post on the con website, but in short is because the majority of the financial burden of the con was on the shoulders of one man - Chase Hedges. Now Chase is in a dire situation as he has been unable to keep up with the credit card payments from the event and the high interest they constantly accrue, and is considering potentially renting or even selling his home to get out from under the debt.
I can personally verify that I have looked through his credit card accounts using logins that Chase provided to me and that no flags were raised. Between the high interest rates on the cards and late fees, the original charges on them from the spring of 2016 are only marginally less than what was originally put on them, even after 2 years of payments.
There were others that were supposed to have been helping with this debt, but that help has failed to materialize, so we are now turning to the Brony community to see if we can get him some relief.
Please help Chase save his home and get out from under this debt!
Any funds that are raised above what he owes for con related expenses will be donated to Give Us Wings, the charity that MLP-MSP supported over its three years.
Please see the updates for a message from Chase explaining the situation in his own words.
