Raise money to help the homeless hero

Donation protected

Ron, a homeless man who was roaming the streets of Salt Lake City today, witnessed the unimaginable.  A lady threw out her cute little puppy on a busy freeway entrance and abandoned him.  Ron was not going to let this dog get ran over or hurt.  Ron's first instinct was to go out of his way to save this poor puppy.  Ron believes that every life matters and made it his goal to go out of his way to save this cute little puppy and find him a home.  What is extraordinary about this situation is that Ron doesn't have a home himself, and his goal was to find this cute abandoned puppy a home.
I came across my friend (Angel) posting about this situation and instantly knew what I had to do, I had to post it to the local Salt Lake Vegan Page and find someone compassionate enough to help both Ron and this puppy, by giving him a home.  Within minutes of posting, a lovely lady by the name of Lisa, and her daughter were on their way to make sure this stray puppy does not go without a home.
When Lisa and her daughter arrived, they thanked the man profusely for being a hero and saving this cute puppy's life.  Lisa, Lisa's daughter, and Ron were all in tears over the situation and Lisa knew she had to do what she can to help Ron for saving this dog, so she offered him $50.  Ron did not want to accept the money, he said he just wanted to do what is right.  After Lisa and her daughter kept insisting, he accepted with much gratitude and was ever so thankful, for the money and that they were able to give this puppy a good home.  As you can imagine, it was a ball bath of tears for everyone invlovled.  Ron had a hard time giving this puppy away but was so happy for the puppy to have a place to go home to and knew he couldn't adequately care for the dog.  Ron and Lisa's story helped remind me that all lives matter, animal or human, homeless, not homeless, are equally important.  Ron is  a hero who cared for this dog over himself.
After hearing this story I KNEW that I needed to help Ron get off his feet by starting a fundraiser for the hero.  Ron needs a happy ending, as well as the puppy.   Everyone deserves a second chance at life.  We need more Ron's (& Lisa's) in this world.  Please help Ron share the love and find a home for himself, we all desreve second chances in life.
