URGENT Appeal for Childrens Home

Thank you so much for clicking on our appeal! We are La Gonave Community & Child Association, a Canadian Non Profit Organization and we work on
La Gonave Island with a local charity, ASHOG. 

Our primary focus is to continue providing a safe and loving home for 6 children who were destitute. The circumstances of their lives before we moved them to the Childrens Home them were horrific - little food, dirty water, no care or supervision, no education and living in dangerous situations.

The children are all well and thriving now, going to school and very happy.

For the last few years we have been renting rooms in a private home for them to live in but this will no longer be available to us as of April 2016.

We URGENTLY need to rent a small, secure house just for the children and their nannies. We also need more furniture, kitchen items, bedding, shoes and clothes for the children. However we are barely surviving month to month to provide the childrens food, water, childcare, education, clothing and medical care.

Please consider making a donation, however small, so we can rent a safe home for the children. We are aiming to raise enough funds to rent a home for 2 years, the badly needed items for the household and the childrens food for the remainder of this year.
