Those who know me, know that I believe…

Community is everything. It is the foundation on which you will build success so find your tribe and watch your dreams comes true by treating them well and helping them realize their dreams.

Empowering others, particularly women, is my mission and it comes from reaching out, teaching what you know and setting an example.

When you want something, you have to go get it and each of us holds the power to achieve anything we set out to, knowing that once we aim to accomplish something there are inevitably going to be obstacles thrown our way, and we will reach our goal as long as we never give up.

I also believe that when you need help, you’d better ask for it because the Universe is ready to help you get out of your own way. Admittedly this is easier for me to tell others to do than it is to put into practice myself but that brings me to this  HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT…

I have the chance of a lifetime and I am determined to make it happen. You see, I made plans to accompany Heather Wilde  to  the Devoxx Tech Conference  in Morocco where she will be giving the keynote address. We expect 30% of the audience to be women who are hungry for mentors, teachers and inspiration… and that is where I will contribute.

Morocco is an Islamic country and 99% of its population is muslim, which presents unique challenges to women who are working hard to find their way in business and technology. This is one of the biggest reasons I feel drawn to this region of the world.

I have already contacted local organizations catering to female entrepreneurs and women in technology offering to give free workshops and mentor hours. Earlier this year, I won the Las Vegas Women in Tech Award for “Community Service,” a category I am determined to live up to.

Here’s how you can help…
Normally, I would fund a trip like this on my own but recent challenges have made that impossible. Don’t worry, I am fine and this is a very temporary set of circumstances that are getting in the way of my chance to help these women across the globe, but I am asking for your assistance to make it a reality.

I will be documenting every part of the experience through photos, videos, the written word and I am hoping to make short documentary as well. Your donation be helping women who aspire to do the very things many of us take for granted, AND you would be participating in documenting the experience so that it can live on and provide lasting inspiration.

I am offering incentives to those who choose to help make this happen.

Everyone who donates will receive an invitation to a  Downtown Las Vegas celebration upon our return (travel and lodging not included).

• $20 - You get a virtual high-five or an in-person high-five the next time I see you.
• $100 - Get a free online health report for your business -I will review your web presence and offer suggestions for improvement
• $150 - You or a friend or your staff get a 1hr consultation with me, Christina Aldan, about Digital Advertising, Brand Messaging, Social Media Marketing, Wordpress Lessons, or Blog Training.

Donate $300 and you get 2 hrs
Donate $450 and you get 3 hrs
Donate $600 and you get 4 hrs
Donate $750 and you get 5 hrs
Donate $900 and you get 6 hrs
Donate $1050 and you get 7 hrs

But it gets more exciting…
Heather Wilde and I will host a free event where we will celebrate women in business and technology. We are at the forefront of a movement that we need to keep energized and focused, so a party seems the perfect choice to ramp us up for the coming year. The event will be held in gorgeous Downtown Las Vegas to share the what we've learned with our community.

All we need to do is raise over $5,000 and everyone gets an invitation to the party! (Travel and accommodations not included).

I am humbled to ask for your help and even more humbled to realize how many dynamic, inspiring people I know. If you can help me make this happen then thank you, but regardless of your contribution, I sincerely want you to know how grateful I am to have a supportive community that I can turn to.
