Help Shari, FIGHT BACK!

I am a 44yr old mother of three, I was born in Chicago illinois, raised in Houston Texas since age 9.  I am outgoing, outspoken, and full of life and love! Unfortunately I have had to overcome tragedy,The worst being the death of my 3yr old son. Then being diagnosed with Lupus SLE,and treated w/the wrong meds, which caused the Lupus to become very aggressive, causing many years of severe illness.(Stroke,Colapsed lung, Kidney damage, Osteoperosis, Rheumatoid Arthitis, Raynaud's disease,Brittle bone disease, etc.) All while trying to raise two children alone. After several hospitalizations, chemo-therapy, Operation, and a lifetime of very strong meds, with many horrible side effects. My Doctor was able to get me stabalized, and at least a little bit of my life back.  Well just when I thought things were going well, and looking up for my children and I. POW!! I got slammed again. After my last operation, and final chemo session in 2012, I was released back to normal activity, so I decided to take a ride  with friends on my motorcycle, the one activity that I loved, and hadn't lost. And again tragedy struck!! I had a mild stroke while riding, I literally fell asleep, and ran head on into a brick wall. I was life flighted to Herman hospital, where I had to be resuscitated more than once. I lay in and out of a coma for 2months. I had broken almost every bone in my body,(to many to count) my upper and lower jaw, and lost several of my teeth,(mouth wired shut for 2months).  After numerous surgeries, 3 hospitals, an in- patient nursing home, and ongoing physical therapy, I was released from the hospital Dec 23, 2013 to try and start my life over again. But Lupus & my left leg, which was one phone call away from being amputated,( another story in itself) said, we're not done with you yet! Which brings me to the reason a dear friend of mine, Chris Barnes, gave me the information, and encouraged me to start this campaigne. I am still fighting, 3yrs later. Between the Lupus, which is out of remission, aggressive & attacking my whole body, and my left leg, which is frozen straight, after being pieced together, and in a metal brace for 2years. I am disabled, on a fixed income, unable to work, and thousands of dollars in debt, due to medical, hospital, and surgical bills.  Despite it all, I am still bound and determined to beat the odds. With your  help I am going to put up a fight and win! I am in need of one final surgery on my leg, which will  enable me to bend it, and become functional again. I'm also in need of transportation to and from my doctor and hospital visits, daily shopping and errands for myself and my daughter. I am also struggling to purchase the incredibly expensive medications that I will be on for the rest of my life. With your help by donating to this "FIGHT FOR LIFE" and my determination to never give up. I know that I can "WIN"!!!
