2018 Iseman Foundation Scholarships

Tax deductible
Want to help support both Science and the Arts? Donate to the Iseman Foundation and help us give out the sixth annual Butwin Elias Science and Technology Award and the second annual Caffrey Welles Fine Arts Award! The Iseman Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible and will go directly to these scholarships.

These awards are offered to students at E. L. Meyers High School and require that students submit either a science and technology related project or a project involving the Fine Arts. These self-directed projects provide real world experience that enables the students to challenge themselves and really push the boundaries of what they think is possible. For the BEST award we have received some really great projects over the years including a 3D printed drone, a shovel guitar, and a 3D printed fractal antenna! More details on the BEST award can be found at the Iseman Foundation website here.

Last year was the first time that we offered the Caffrey Welles Fine Arts Award, and the students created some awesome projects! Our first-place winner was a full-length novella, and we received a lot of quality, intersting original art work. More details on the Fine Arts Award can be found here.

Any help in fundraising for these awards will be greatly appreciated! These awards honor some of the best teachers that I have ever had and help inspire students to pursue their passions for science and the arts. More details on the Iseman Foundation can be found here. An article that the Times-Leader wrote about the awards we gave out last year can be found here.

Thank you in advance,

Adam
