Career Ready Training ForTeens
Donation protected
We are looking for 2,017 donors to donate $17 each
in 2017 to ensure that hundreds of teens, from all backgrounds, receive training in basic business skills without having pay a penny for it.
The Jefferson County Business Education Alliance (JCBEA) provides no-cost career ready training to high school students in Jefferson County, Colorado. We are a 501 (c)(3), independent of the school district, and all of our instruction is provided by the business community. Kids are receiving real-world training from business professionals.
We never turn a child away and we never charge a penny for the training. Students do not need to have a specific GPA or be college bound. Whatever their career aspirations are we are here to make sure they have a positive first experience. And in turn, we are helping to create an outstanding workforce for today and tomorrow.
Upon completion, students receive certificates that give them hiring priority status at many Jefferson County businesses. Each student is given the opportunity for a mock job interview with a business professional and each is provided with a list of companies that will allow for job shadow opportunities.
This campaign, if successful, will provide all the funds needed for notebooks, training materials, certificates, and all other costs for the entire 2017 calendar year. The JCBEA is entirely dependent on individual and business donations.
"2,017 donate $17 for 2017 Career Ready Training." Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
