Xmas Gifts For Jamaican Orphanage
Donation protected
Hi Friends & Family!

The little girl in the picture is me as a 4 year old living with my extended family at the Salvation Army Hanbury Home for Children. Christmas was always my favorite time of the year. We loved to leave the Home and
visit the local areas, performing musicals for visitors and interacting with other orphanages.
My fondest and most vivid memories are gathering in the Girl's House where we would sing Christmas carols and open presents.
For the past seven years I have been helping to keep this tradition alive. Of seventy children, eight will soon be leaving the home as they will be eighteen year old adults. Today I am asking for monetary gifts so that I
can buy and hand-deliver presents, but also to provide a nest egg for those about to venture off on their own.
I feel so fortunate to have had so much loving help throughout my time at the Hanbury Home and in transition from the only place I knew to a much
bigger and challenging world.
Thank you for your continued friendship and love you've brought into my life.
Happy Holidays
