Jim's Paralegal Certification Exam

My name is James Alderman. For a long time, I floundered aimlessly. I had dropped out of college after completing about 60 units, I was working a dead-end job, I was hating life and I was stuck. Finally, I took out a bunch of student loans and finished my bachelor degree in legal studies. Finally, I thought, I can get my life back on track, find a job working at a law firm somewhere and start making a half-decent living.
Unfortunely, I was naive about how things worked beyond entry-level in the professional world. A bachelor degree is a good start, but not enough. To compete in today's job market, you better have either certification, or at least a few years of experience.
So, I asked for some assistance from my family, and got registered for the NALA certification exam next month. Earlier tonight, I recieved the test registration info, and was devastated to find that there is an additional registration cost. There are five exams, which each cost an additional $40.00 per exam just to take through PSI Online. $200 total. I don't have it, and I know my family doesn't either. I need to be registered in the next 2 weeks, or the money spent to register for the NALA certification will be for nothing.
I need this certification to make a better life for myself, and my three-year-old son. I can't put into words just how much this would change my life for the better. This is what will get my foot into the professional world, set me apart from other job-seeking paralegals. Please, if there is any way you can help me pay to register for my tests, or know what it's like to struggle to make it in today's legal world, consider donating to make this happen.
I can't possibly thank any donors enough, and as soon as I pass my tests, I will show the results to any donors, so that they may know what a difference they made in my life.
