Jordan Valley Women's Radio

We are four Levantine women, activists for social change. Our main goal is to establish a creative radio station led by the women of Al-Aqaba village, Jordan Valley (C Area, Palestinian land occupied by the Israeli state). 

Palestinian women undergo two kinds of occupation; the Israeli occupation and the patriarchal domination which leads to a deep sense of isolation, and internalisation of this mutilated and unjust reality.

We want to work with the Al-Aqaba women to challenge this internal reality and find ways to communicate their own voice about the different socio-political issues to their own society and beyond.
