Joshua Cassidy 2016 Paralympics Rio
Donation protected
Joshua Cassidy is a 2 time Paralympian, 28 time Canadian Champion, Canadian Record holder in the 1500m, 5000m, 10000m, and Marathon. He is a Commonwealth Games, World Championship, and Para PanAm Game medalist. He has won 3 World Major Marathons, including the Boston Marathon, where he recorded the fastest time set by a man in a wheelchair at 1:18:25.
The medal he is missing is from the Paralympic Games.
Despite his world standing, and all of his accomplishments, funding is extremely challenging. The cost for winter training camps, international competitions, equipment, proper nutrition, and rehabilitation support adds up to nearly $70,000. Josh has accumulated the maximum amount of personal debt possible in his quest for gold.
Rio is coming up fast, and he is seeking immediate help to boost him the rest of the way. With the massive financial distraction relieved, Josh can focus completely in the last few months on his training and preparation for Rio.
Joshua has dedicated so much of his time in between training and competitions in community, charity, and social work, inspiring others to believe in themselves, and motivating them to achieve their goals.
Let's get together and help Josh reach his goal at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, and allow him to continue the work he does giving and helping others!
