Mom on a Mission: Justice for ROXY
Donation protected
Many of my Friends and Family know that losing my daughter Roxanne was the most devastating thing I’ve ever had to endure. I am a mother. A mother on a mission to get justice and accountability for my baby’s life. I’ve continued this fight on my own for the last three years. My wrongful death lawsuit is in process, but I can no longer do it alone. I have exhausted all of my own funds in doing so. I have spent thousands of dollars of my own savings for Court fees and other expenses related to our case. I come to you with a very humble heart and ask that you please make a donation so I can continue to legally fight for accountability from the Hospital and Physicians. And justice for my Roxanne. Please consider donating.

Her loss left us with a lot of heartache, and also a lot of questions. We were at a loss for understanding how our full term, healthy baby could have died while under direct and constant care. The Attending Physician gave us various scenarios as to what possibly may have happened to Roxanne. But, None of their answers made any sense.
We waited several months for her autopsy to be finalized and her medical records to be released.
After much scrutiny, a lot of reading, weeks of research, and an unknown number of sleepless nights, I discovered that Roxanne didn’t meet the criteria for Pitocin use during labor. Roxanne was having several hours of heart decelerations and an infected placenta, both of which deprived Roxanne of blood and oxygen flow. When ROXY was displaying signs of distress, we were requesting a cesarean. i demanded to have a cesarean to save my daughters life, but I was denied. Our physicians made their own decision to have me continue to labor.
Ever since Roxanne passed, our lives changed in more ways than just missing a piece of our hearts. Medical bills piled up, our work ethic and drive suffered, and relationships with friends and even family have been lost.
A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed in the LA courts, to bring us some justice on Roxanne’s behalf. Since the suit has started, our lawyer abandoned us and left us to defend ourselves. The law limits the amount that can be collected by a wrongful death suit, and therefore, lawyers I’ve spoken to determined it was in their best monetary interest to not take my case. It’s a cruel and unfortunate reality for us that legal representation for Roxanne is motivated by a lawyers paid percentage and not actual justice- especially when it is clearly supported that the Physician intentionally neglected my daughter and I.
Thank you so much, and God Bless You can follow my journey on FB - Jane Navarro, IG as lotuslanejane and you can also follow the hashtag #RememberRoxy to read all about our story and journey to justice so far.
