Support Katrina's Writing Endeavors

My name is Katrina Haffner...and I am a writer. While I identify with quite a few labels, being a writer is what I do, and what I want to be remembered by.
In the summer, I launched a successful crowdfunding campaign to help with my travel to conferences around the United States. Because of it, I was able to attend PorcFest, FreedomFest, YAL National Convention, Seattle Hempfest, and other events.
Not only was I able to engage in opportunities that expanded my professional network and accumulate resources to help my student groups, it gave me the energy and will to start the school year with a refreshed mind...and to write.
Therefore, I have decided to create this campaign as a means for anybody to tip me if they want to support my blossoming career as a writer. While I am getting paid jobs, it's still not enough to easily get by. And if I am too busy with working (other jobs), classes, and extracurricular activities, it drains me of the energy and time that I could be using to devote to writing.
I am mainly infatuated with writing plays (my new major), short stories, and articles. What would be as great - or even greater - than contributing to this campaign? Actually reading what I write.
I recently was hired by The Odyssey Online to write one article per week.
Then of course, you can always find me on La Commedia Politica .
My Liberty.me site is devoted to miscellaneous, such as plays and research I conducted for class.
Conspiracy Hilarity is a blog I need to remember to update with my online encounters. Regardless of whether or not I post anything recent, it's still there.
I write two articles every month for Students For Liberty , a wonderful organization I dedicate my time to in a symbiotic relationship.
(KatrinaHaffner.com will be a resource to go to for a more compact collection.)
And this is only the beginning.
By helping me out, you are telling me that what you're reading is worth something. You could also outright tell me that what you're reading is worth something. I'm open to suggestions as well.
I will post periodic updates about my newest work, conferences I plan to attend, the ups, the downs, and whatever else in life I feel I need to write about.
What I liked about my summer campaign was that it gave me an outlet. It was a journal of sorts, but I've never actually been good with diaries. I think with this, I like sharing pieces of my life with others because it makes me feel like I have something to offer to people. It doesn't actually matter if you contribute or not, you'll see updates on social media, and I hope some stories of mine resonate with you.
Thank you for supporting me - whether it be by tipping, reading, or vocalizing your support - because it give me hope that the person I am and the work I create has worth, and has some kind of meaningful impact.
