NAGORNO-KARABAKH CRISIS VICTIMS

Hi everyone!

 We are several friends from Glendale, CA who want to help all the families affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh humanitarian crisis that started on April 2, 2016. The landlocked mountainous region of Nagorno-Karabakh is the subject of an unresolved dispute between Azerbaijan, in which it lies, and its ethnic Armenian majority, backed by neighboring Armenia.

 As reported by all major news outlets, the outbreak of hostilities that erupted on April 2, 2016 between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan is the worst since a war that ended in 1994. There are more than 100,000 people who live in that region that can be potentially affected by this humanitarian crisis. According to officials, as of right now, almost all residents of Talysh and the nearby village of Madagiz had been evacuated and provided with shelter in other parts of the region.




 We are trying to raise money that will be donated to a trusted humanitarian organization in the region to provide shelter, food and medicine to as many people as possible who are affected by this crisis. All the donations, regardless of how small they are, will make a tremendous difference in the families of that region.
