"To develop, a Nation Must Have a Self-Reliant Population." -MUKAH Samuel TANJEH, Cameroonian Entreprenuer

These are the words echoing in the ears of anyone who has ever come in contact with Joybert.
Joybert Javnyuy, 24, grew up in conditions that would discourage any person from pursuing his/her goals,
but, instead, Joybert kept his head high, and is now the go-to person for youth and entrepreneurs in his community. Joybert and his wife recently gave birth to a little girl and he had no choice but to run classes out of his small home in Cameroon. Anyone that knows him knows he is super motivated and always willing to give a helping hand. Now he needs our help... and we need yours.
With the help of Peace Corps Volunteers, Joybert has been training men, women, and out of school youth on how to become more independent and sustain an income. Classes follow a curriculum on accounting, business management, leadership, and life skills. Students invest time into business feasibility studies and create a final business plan to insure the success and longevity of their project(s). By training the men and women that are most vulnerable to poverty on basic business practices and income generation, we create a self-reliant generation of hard workers and game-changers.
After finally securing a much needed classroom space for the Center for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Business Management (CELBMD), Joybert, the NGO's chief executive, administrator, main facilitator and over all "____________" is faced with a problem no teacher should ever have! No chairs, desks, books or blackboard for his students!
Joybert has made personal sacrifices to make space for a classroom and resource center in his own home. He placed an order for chairs out of his own pocket. We want to help him obtain desks, a blackboard and resources for his many students.

This GoFundMe account is written and kept updated by 3 Peace Corps Volunteers who have worked with Joybert in the past and present. A donation to this project will help train local men and women of North West Cameroon how to start a business, and keep it.
We are hoping to present the donation at the class graduation on Sunday, June 19th.
Joybert is very active on social media, follow him on Facebook, (but dont tell him we sent you!, shhh it's a suprise!)
