Help Save Last Chance Rescue

We are reaching out to the community to ask for help.
Last Chance Rescue has helped thousands of animals over the past 17 years find their forever homes. The kennel that houses many of our animals is in jeopardy due to a failed septic field and the necessity to hook into the sewer system. If we are unable to obtain the funding to take care of this, we will be forced to close ours doors on February 1st, 2016. We are also in desperate need of homes for our hard to place dogs and cats that have been residing at the kennel. If we are able to reach our goal and save the kennel, any additional funds that are raised will be used to make improvements to the kennel as well as providing medical care and supplies for the animals. If we are unable to reach our goal, the funds raised will be used for transportation, relocation, and vetting of the existing animals in order to avoid euthanisia.
Staff and volunteers of the organization have worked countless hours caring for the animals of Last Chance Rescue. If the kennel is able to remain open, this orginazation will continue to save the lives of many more animals that would otherwise have been euthanized in shelters.
Any support, adoptions or donations will change the lives of these precious animals. Thank you in advance!

Last Chance Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 Animal shelter located in Howell. We have been in existence since 2001 and have rescued and placed thousands of animals. The rescue takes in many animals that the Humane Society or other rescues will not take. We accept difficult to place animals, animals with medical needs, senior animals, animals from high kill shelters, and many more.
