Right now we are faced with being forced to make about $30 to $50 thousand in upgrades. If we can raise enough money we will look at buying a building for ourselves so we don't have to deal with many of the issues we face today.
For 34 years the Live and Let Live Alano Club (LLLAC) has operated as a nonprofit 501(c) organization. LLLAC is the 4th oldest Sober Community Center in the country. We provide meeting space to 1,000 participants per week with over 40 weekly Twelve-step recovery meetings. The variety of meetings includes alcohol, drugs, co-dependency, nicotine and the list goes on. In addition we produce many clean and sober events throughout the year. We are open 365 days a year. Our primary focus is the LGBTQ and our organization supports all members of the community with extended services for difficult challenges such as disabilities, HIV/AIDS and homelessness.
We are in desperate need for donations.
We are a Platinum rated Guidestar Non Profit. We are the only alano club to achieve this rating.
