Helping Lou to Recover From a Fire.

My brother, Lou Del Pinto, is the kind of person that will help anyone in anyway that he can. He's the kind of guy that actually carries a gallon of gas in his car so he can help someone on the side of the road. Well this time he is the one that needs help. On Thursday, the 15th of October 2015, while most of us were thinking about what we were going to have for dinner that night, his home was burning down to a shell. Not even that! It is the bottom bit of a shell. He lost everything-his home, his clothes, his bed, his pillow, along with pictures of his children growing up, sentimental items from events in his life and his children's lives, and every other thing most of us take for granted. Despite the fact that everything that he owned was going up in flames, he still had the presence of mind to run up and disconnect the propane from the house.
The purpose of this campaign is to help him recover. Yes, he has insurance but it is not going to be nearly enough to cover building or finding a new home or motorhome and replacing all of the basics of life.
Thankfully, he and his two dogs are safe because they were not inside at the time. So there are some blessings to count. But when it comes down to it, he has lost everything and needs your help. Any donation is welcome. If it's $50 or $5 or any other amount, we will gratefully accept it!
One more thing that you should know about Lou: he would never ask for this kind of help from anyone. We (his family) have taken it upon ourselves to ask for him.
So check your couch cushions and the pockets of your jeans or maybe even your bank account balance and please give what you can. If Lou had it, he would do it for you.
Anyone wanting to donate offline, please contact me at [email redacted] for my address so that I can log it and put it into the bank.
I would also like to thank you in advance for any help that you can give,
His little sister, Reenie, writing for the entire Del Pinto Clan (Andrew, Zach, Fran, Pat, Larry, Shelly, Bill, Alexandra, Zoey, Riley, Emillia, Gator, and Bella)
And thank you to the firemen on the 4 trucks that came to put the fire out!
