Save The Lest We Forget Museum
Donation protected
My name is J. Justin Raggsdale and I am the Chief Curator for The Lest We Forget Museum. I have been collecting artifacts for over fifty plus years. I made a conscious decision to use the museum as an educational tool after seeing the problems that our children are having. With the artifacts I have collected, I decided to make them available for people to see the damage that has been done to our children over time.
The funds will be used to repair and enlarge the space the museum is currently in. We want to bring in more displays to show the horrors of slavery to possibly solve the problems we face. We must be diligent about this in every way and raising funds immediately is the best way we know.
About 25 years ago, I came home early one morning around 3 AM and as I pulled up to my house there was caution tape around the tree line area. The police officer asked me for my ID because my house was there. He asked me to come look at something behind the trees. It was a covering that he pulled back off of a young man from the neighborhood who was about 13 years old. At that point, I knew I had a quest to change the problem. All of us make contributions in some way however, this museum is my way of bringing to the attention of the country that All Lives Matter.
My appreciation is great to all donors and sponsors be they great or small who will assist us to move along greatly. We are losing our children and we cannot allow this to happen and this is why I am asking for contributions. Our children’s future is at stake.
