Making Hope for Ariana
Donation protected
Who is Ariana? Ariana was a vibrant, inquisitive, smart, and active toddler. When "Ari" was almost three, she became ill with what my parents thought was a cold. After further tests, at the Medical College of Virginia, Ariana was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Six weeks after she was diagnosed, "Ari" lost her battle with cancer. Our family still misses that sweet, precious, fun-loving little girl. My parents told me that Ariana would've cherished having a sibling.
I am Angelina Anderson, Ariana's little sister. When my teachers asked me to choose a capstone topic, I chose to focus on cancer because it is near and dear to my heart.
"Making Hope For Ariana" is a three year capstone project that strives to educate and to help raise funds to finding cures for childhood cancers.
Ariana is my motivation to end the agonizing pain and suffering of children who have childhood cancer. This is more than a personal journey, I want to give back to the world in loving memory of my sister.
TOGETHER we can inspire hope, one day at a time!
Please help me raise awareness by donating any amount. No amount is too small. Every little bit helps.
All donations are tax deductible and go directly to:
*VCU Massey Cancer Center
*Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
*American Cancer Society
Thank you!
