USA Senior Karate Team Member

Hello!

My name is Manuel Tavares I am looking for anyone to open their heart in order to help me achieve my goals and dreams! I am a two time USA Senior Karate Team member residing in Queens Village, NY. Being on the team alone has given me great pride and sense of achievement. Recently having earned the 2nd seat in the -67 kilogram division I am given the chance to take part in the Pan American Championships in Lima, Peru this May 2014. But since I am 2nd in my division the costs will not be covered. Also i will be competing in the next U.S. Team Trials in Reno Nevada this July. With the help of this funding I would be able to stay on top of my game and in top form in order to qualify once again and represent the U.S. in the WKF World Championships in Germany. Since i have accomplished my dream of becoming national champion in 2013, I will continue to push my goals to the next level and set my sights on becoming world champion. As a Barber I do not have a guaranteed steady income and most likely cannot afford to cover the costs. I am asking anyone to help me continue to achieve my goals as I will continue to represent the US the best I can and push myself to the max!

My ultimate goal would be to expand my horizons and learn as much as I can to one day pass my knowledge to another who also has the dreams and desires I have had. As well as to become a teacher who helps others maintain and achieve their goals. To be on the USA Senior Team is an honor but to represent them internationally is my DREAM!
