Send the Martinez Family Home

Michelle, Avery, and Vivienne are a reslient little family. They have walked many trying roads and need your help. Last year, this little family had to flee their home due to unsafe conditions resulting from interpersonal violence. In hopes of finding a safer, brighter future they tried to reconstruct their lives and build a sustainable future together. That was 7 months ago. 

Today, Michelle continues to work diligently  to secure a place that her children and her can call home. For seven months this family has moved from temporary home to temporary home while trying to save money for a place of thier own. 

She is working hard at a secure job but needs to raise funds for deposit, rent, and beds for her and the kids. Every family deserves a place to call home, a place to rest, a place to be together.  

"A home is a special thing. As we enter our 8th month of homelessness I am becoming extremely exhausted. I just want a place of our own where we can be a family together. I want to be alone with my children. Alone to do nothing but make food, sit in the same space together, hold each other and cry because we are safe and have a homebase. I'm just ready to go home."
