Mayaguez Hurricane Relief Fund
This is Zenaida Denizac, many of you know me as a former City of Deltona Vice- Mayor, Commissioner, community leader, and teacher with Volusia County Schools.
I am reaching out to my community pleading for help for my hometown Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, which is located on the West coast of the island.
Almost 3 weeks have passed, the adrenalin is fading and shock is setting in. The people of Mayaguez have lost homes, roads, bridges and communication. The messages from Puerto Rico include the words “I have run out of food and water”. People are on survival mode.
My immediate goal is to raise at least $20,000 so that at least 200 families can receive $100 worth of groceries to get them through until more help arrives. I can’t wait for the aid to trickle down from the east to the west coast. My hometown needs food and water today. Please donate now! Food will be purchased, boxed and a van will be waiting to pick it up and start delivering tomorrow.
I am humbly asking that you join me in this effort. My family and I are people of integrity and we will ensure that each donation is used responsibly for the purpose intended. Your donation to Hurricane Relief Funds P.R. will make an immediate impact. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
You may also donate through Zelle and PayPal.
Thank you and may God bless you.
