Miraculous Miaya's Medical Fund

Hi everyone! When signing up to make this gofundme account, they give you writing tips. They want you to tell everyone who you are, and what this gofundme means to me. Well this journey and fight is not about me, but about a beautiful, funny, charming and LOVING little girl named Miaya.
On February 25th, Miaya was diagnosed with A.L.L Leukemia. The diagnosis came as quite a shock!! As a family we are still trying our best to wrap our heads around this devastating news. Miaya had a sinus infection at the beginning of the month. It turned into a bilateral ear infection. With each infection, she complained of leg pain. We knew something was wrong but we never expected a diagnosis like this.
Miaya's grandma Kelly started a facebook page to keep everyone updated on Miaya's fight. Kelly posted her first update this morning, and we already have a little bit of good news! "Yesterday, they performed a spinal tap on Miaya. The results were the best we've had so far. No cancer was present! While she was under, they inserted a port and performed an echocardiogram. She received her first dose of chemotherapy last night"
As you can see they have already started treatment, and as of right now what we can tell is treatment is going to last 3 years! Kelly has taken an indefinite leave of absense from teaching to help care for Miaya. As you can imagine the medical bills the family will be faced with in the near future will be immeasurable. I am hoping through all of our love and support we will be able to help ease the impact of what is to come. I have set up a campaign to help raise $50,000. I am asking all of you reading this, if you can spare even $1, every penny helps. I know financially some of you cannot afford to donate, and that is completely understandable, and to all of you who can't I ask one simple thing. Please join us in saying a prayer for Miaya as she embarks on the fight against Leukemia. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. With the help of her army of angels I hope we can make this as easy for Miaya as possible.
Miaya is really a remarkable little girl, full of life love and laughter. Your support not only means the world to us as a family, but gives her the extra strength she will need to fight!!!
