49ers: Fire GM Trent Baalke
Donation protected
After three successful banner flights last year, the 2015 season culminated with Jed York firing head coach Jim Tomsula in a post conference in which he acknowledged fan criticism from "...planes flying over my head."
The 2016 season has already spiraled out of control. The 49ers are currently in the basement of the NFC with a 1-6 record. After a demoralizing week 7 loss to Tampa Bay this team is showing no signs of improving. The level of ineptitude that has been on full display every Sunday thus far can only be rectified with a total reexamination of the organizations interior. That reexamination needs to start at the top with the teams' general manager Trent Baalke. Trent has been provided ample opportunities to establish himself as a capable NFL GM. He has failed and it is time for him to go.
Goal: To fly a banner over Levi's Stadium before the November 6th game against the New Orleans Saints calling for Trent Baalke to be fired.
Required: To fly the banner for two hours before the game our vendor, Aerial Services of Livermore CA, charges $1,024. GoFundMe takes 5% ($51.20) of funds raised so we will need to raise a total of $1,076.
Timeframe: In order to reserve a plane for the Niners vs. Saints we will need to reach our goal by October 28th.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped out last year. We would prefer that the 49ers were on top of the NFC West and flying banners this season was not necessary. Unfortunately with Jed York that is not the case. That being said we have done this before and all the pieces are in place. The only thing remaining is fundraising. Please share this with your friends, family, coworkers and any 49ers fans you know. To see what Niner fans were able to accomplish last season by working together click the links below:
