Miss New York USA 2017

Hello!!!! I'm Nailah, and I'm a student-athlete at University at Albany! I'm a Dean's Listed Child Psychology major, and a USA Track & Field Youth All-American. In addition to this, I'm bilingual, and a classically trained dancer who has also acquired national titles.

With that being said, I've been selected as an Official Contestant in This year's Miss New York USA pageant!!! I'm extremely excited for this opportunity to leave my impact on the world with everything I've done, and more importantly the endless amount of things I have to left to achieve.

Aside from all the fancy stuff, I'm just an ambitious girl from Bay Shore, (Long Island) NY. My hobbies include playing the piano, singing, dancing, and drawing. My heart belongs to children, which is the main reason that I decided to pursue Child Psychology. My life goal is to help inspire as many amazing young people as I can, into becoming the incredible individuals that they're destined to be, despite any adversities they come across. Our biggest hope for the future lies in the tiniest hands. I couldn't think of a better platform for a driven young woman to change the world than the Miss New York USA pageant.
