Freedom Farm Desperately Needs You

(UPDATE: Thanks to all of you, We found our forever property February 2018! All money raised after this date goes directly to caring for all the animals that call Freedom Farm Animal Rescue home.) My name is Jamie Castano and I am a co-Founder of Freedom Farm Animal Rescue. I started up the rescue in 2014, with my wife Tara, and we made it official shortly after by filing for a 501c3 nonprofit status. Our sole mission is to help various species of animals in need - predominantly focusing on farm animals. These animals are rescued from abuse, neglect, starvation, slaughter ... you name it. I am not usually an open open book but I absolutely feel the need to be today. There are two things that I am sure of. 1. I have and will continue to dedicate my entire life to animals in need of saving. 2. I need your help. WE need your help. Originally, Freedom Farm Animal Rescue was based on a large farm in southern New Jersey. We were leasing the property as we searched for the perfect farm to purchase. In January of this year, unforeseen circumstances forced us to pickup everything and move to yet another temporary property while we continued to search for a property of our own. We went through all of the motions and asked all of the proper questions before putting up fencing and shelters on this temporary property. After moving our entire setup and all of the rescued animals, we were contacted by the township. To make a very long story short, we will have to file endless amounts of paperwork and spend A LOT of money in order for us to remain where we are. Since this property is supposed to be temporary, we really do not want to waste our time and money on this - just to pickup and move again in 8 months. Please understand, I never ask for help so this is difficult for me. I am swallowing my pride for the animals and our mission in general. The best thing for all of the animals would be to finally find Freedom Farm's forever home and allow everyone to settle completely. This is where you all come in. We only have approximately 2 months to raise this money. If you can spare $1, $5, $25 - it would help immensely. The last thing we want to do is continue to uproot all of our rescued animals. If you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your friends and family. Remember, all donations are tax deductible. Freedom Farm Animal Rescue is a registered 501c3 nonprofit.
