16 Tibetan Families Shop Burn in Fire
Donation protected
On February 23, 2019, sixteen Tibetan families lost their businesses in a massive fire. The shops were vandalized, looted then burned down to ashes by a group of angry mob protesting the Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) in Naharlagan, Arunachal Pradesh (AP), India. The innocent shop owners at the complex have lost their livelihood and affected by the actions of the protesters. They have no relation or affiliation between the State politics and the local natives demands.

The families affected by the devastating complex fire are in deep shock and feel helpless. I have been trying to keep contact with my sisters to find out more information but the internet service and social media is still shut down. I moved from AP thirty years ago but I still have family and childhood friends who are living in the travel restricted area. This makes it very difficult for any outside resources and aid to reach people in AP.
We are urging your help with any donation amount that will be distributed evenly among the sixteen Tibetan families affected by the fire. Your generosity will make a tremendous difference in restarting their lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping the Tibetan families. Organized by family members in Canada.
