Build New Challenger Baseball Field

I'm Mark Robertson, President of Eastlake League in Chula Vista, CA.
Thank you for your interest in helping Eastlake Little League build a dedicated field for our Challenger Division.
The Challenger Division enables differently-abled boys and girls, who otherwise would be unable to play Little League the opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of their peers worldwide.
Challenger encourages the use of "buddies" for the players. Buddies assist the Challenger players on the field, but whenever possible, encourage them to bat and make plays themselves. However, the buddy is always nearby to encourage and help when needed. The development of friendships between the Challenger Players and their Buddies are as important as the baseball activity itself.

For 2016, we are raising funds to build the Challenger Division a field of their own. We own the land and have begun development with generous donations from the community and local businesses, but we need your help to complete both the field and supporting projects. Our plans are to complete the initial build-out of the field in time for the Spring 2016 season.
Our goal with this GoFundMe campaign is to raise $40,000 for the completion of our new Challenger Field and supporting facilities.
Your donations, however big or small, will give our Challenger kids a field to call home and the opportunity to enjoy the fun of baseball in a setting where each child shines. You can feel proud knowing your donations are helping a great group of kids and families and that every one of these families is grateful for your help.
All donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501-C (3) organization.
