Cat & dog rescue in Muscat
Donation protected
My mum (and me!) are part of a group of animal lovers (volunteers) who pay out of their own pockets and from individual donations to help rescue stray, abused, sick and abandoned cats and dogs in Muscat, Oman.
No government support
There is no animal welfare legislation here, no funding, no shelters or charities - the government does not support it. Instead, many of these animals are shot or poisoned (often unsuccessfully) - an awful way to end life.
What we do
We do TNR (trap-neuter-release) of strays, help with injured or sick animals, abused and abandoned animals and fostering and adoption, to try and find as many as possible a forever home.
We need your help
We currently have vets bills of over £15,000 and the vets have told us they are unable to help more animals until we pay our bills.
It breaks our hearts to see injured, neglected and sick animals and not be able to help them.
Please help us to settle the outstanding vets bills and provide funds so that we can help the many animals lining up in desperate need.
Some of the animals we've helped...
I was also rescued by my mum, so now I want to help others - often who are in a much worse situation than I was.
Thank you,
Moet (& mum)
