OPERATION DIGNITY NYC
Mission: to collect personal Feminine Products for Women who are homeless and/or currently living in the New York City shelter system.
The Need:
Most NYC homeless shelters do NOT give women who reside there a basic need - Sanitary Napkins.
In addition, Restrooms are not always made available for use.
Often times, shelter restrooms are locked for countless hours - Leaving many women to have to deal with embarrassing leakage and unsanitary conditions.
Most of all ... Women are left without basic human Dignity.
Are you in New York? Want to drop off product donations?
Wish List:
* Cash Money Donation - All monies go towards purchasing any items below to be given directly to the Women's shelter.
* Sanitary Napkins (all kinds) - Brand New; Unopened.
* Wet Wipes/ Baby Wipes - Brand New; Unopened.
* Underwear - (all sizes) Brand New; Un-Used.
It doesn't have to be expensive.
Your local discount stores will have plenty for an affordable price.
